WHO HAVE WE TO PROTECT US FROM THE ABUSIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, BUT LAW ENFORCEMENT THEMSELVES ?

An Officer's loyalty and allegiance should be to the Constitution and Rule of Law first, then to his brothers in arms. When the two are in conflict, he must stand by his oath of office in adhering to truth and law and thereby promote "justice for all." Otherwise, there will be injustices perpetrated upon our citizens by law enforcement and there shall be no law enforcement resources to hold the perpetrators accountable.

Justice For More.com is aimed primarily towards encouraging Law Enforcement officers throughout the country to courageously push past  intimidation they feel in holding their fellow officers accountable to the ethical, moral and legal boundaries of law.  It seems acceptable to many departments to have a "few bad apples".  Habitual offenders have too often broken the law only to have the support of their fellow officers as well as the justice system protecting them when they are clearly in violation of the law of the land.  If you are a law enforcement officer and know of a bad actor on your force, seek help HERE in knowing how to navigate the path towards holding him /her accountable to the law like you would any other citizen.

Steven Eric Beatty of the Martin County Sheriffs Dept has more than 35 citizens complaints as well as a unchallenged jury verdict by a federal court concerning a plethora of laws that he has willfully broken yet the Dept has taken no disciplinary action. Instead of discipline or training, the Dept has re positioned the deputy to a low income minority town of Indiantown.

We spend trillions of dollars overseas fighting for the protection of our rights, privileges and freedoms embodied within our constitution. We subsequently arm and charge hundreds of thousands of Police officers here at home to "serve and protect" and when one of them does the opposite, other officers too often turn a blind eye and cover up the unlawful acts. It seems there's too often a pledge of allegiance to each other that supersedes a commitment to "Justice for ALL". It is our goal to achieve Justice For More by challenging officers to take the Justice Pledge and hold each other to a standard at least equal to the law.

In a landmark case in which the Sheriffs Dept of Martin County FL spent over $700,000 defending an officers ability to "snatch" a cell phone from a bystanders hand with no warrant and no permission, a jury in Federal Court took less than an hour to determine there were no exigent circumstances that may have provided an out for a 4th Amendment violation. The far greater issues at hand in the case remain the conditions of confinement, false arrest and a first amendment violation because the officer prevented the legal recording of the scene by taking the device. Prior to the ruling in the case, the officer was granted qualified immunity on these three violations, which can now be brought before the court on appeal. The Plaintiff was able to convince the Jury that the deputy intentionally tightened the handcuffs and shut the air conditioning off on a 90 degree day nearly suffocating him.
